Hello Friends!

I found this cutie last month at school and was not able to locate his family. Now I need your help finding him a new forever home. He's about 1.5 years old and weighs only 14 lbs.. Guido would be happiest if he was placed with a family with children, other pets, a secure yard, and someone who is a home a lot of the time. Guido is really sweet, loves to cuddle, adores children and all dogs, and even grooms my cat's ears! He's an all-around social buttterfly.

When I got Guido he had never worn a collar, been walked on a leash, was afraid of grass, and had not even remotely been house-trained. I suspect that he had been locked up on someone's concrete patio his entire life was left alone much of the time. With the help of my dogs and a lot of positive reinforcement he's become a real dog now. Guido no longer poops in the house but does have occasional accidents inside when I'm away at work. I crate him at night in my bedroom and take him outside immediately in the morning but do not feel it would be fair to Guido to crate him up again during the day when I'm at work for 8 - 10 hours a day. That's why it's important that he find a family that has the time and energy to finish this phase of his training.

Guido is a wiggly little youngster who would not be suitable for seniors since he could easily trip them. Otherwise, he has a happy-go-lucky temperament and is not the least bit yappy. . . a real plus! I got all of his vaccinations taken care of, treated him for conjunctivitis, and got him fixed at a low cost spay and neuter clinic nearby. Hopefully, whoever adopts him would be willing to reimburse me for these costs since it all needed to be done and his new family will not be bothered with making appointments and shuttling him around like I did. If you could please pass this flier on to your pet-loving friends I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

Guido has been adopted by Stacey.

Thanks so much for your reaching out to Guido. As a special show of appreciation, I would like to extend an invitation for him to stay as our guest for a complementary weekend at Dougal's B&B in Calabasas.
