Dougal's Got Cancer
June 1st at 4pm our life changed when the doctor said "Have a seat. I've got some bad news." The bloodwork isn't back yet, but it appears that Dougal has Canine Lymphoma. What I know so far is that of all the cancers, this one responds well to chemo. I wanted to let everyone know, and if you have experienced this yourself or have any advice to pass on I'd be grateful to hear from you. Our plan is to stay positive and beat this thing. ~ Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Cath & Dougal

Dougal's cancer
Cath, I sympathise with your news, but don't think the worst. I talk to a dog owner at my local park who has a Chow which had cancer a couple of years ago and underwent chemo. She survived and is back to almost normal, just a white streak on her muzzle to show. I see her everyday walking and sniffing around the park. I'm sure Dougal will be too with all the love and veterinary attention he is receiving.
