Fido Fitness News - June 2009

If you've got sharp eyes, you may have already noticed the shocking blog entry below about Dougal. As I am writing this, Dougal is home after biopsy surgery. He's groggy but resting comfortably while we both try to figure out how to beat this thing. I am heartened to hear that the FDA has just announced the approval of a new drug to fight canine cancer, which you can read about here. (Article).

I am also bolstered by this wonderful story of the "Knick Knack Fund" where the compassion of a veterinarian and the kindness of strangers helped save a beloved pet. You can see the story here. (Video and article)
