Sad News

After fighting bravely against illness for many weeks, Dougal left this world on August 19, 2009 for further adventures in the great beyond. He spent his final moments in quiet comfort with those closest to his heart.

He will be missed. But he is not alone. On Monday the 17th his boxer friend Bertie Bridges crossed over and Wednesday two of Dougal's playmates also left for the Rainbow Bridge. Sidney "Buckethead" Andrews and Missy Berkner, a dear old girl who was a papillon.

I'm not sure, but my guess is that they were all going to the 1st anniversary bash for their friend Roxy Goldsmith, the most beautiful black lab I ever met. Last Monday, the 17th of August was the one year anniversary of her passing. I think she invited LOTS of friends to the party.
